Behind The Scene Of Musda DPD LDII Sidoarjo 2015

M. Syfaen Syafi’i, S.Pd, usually called as Mr. Syafi, was the chairman of Musyawarah Daerah (Musda) VIII DPD LDII Sidoarjo. He has a wife named Fitri and three children named Elba, Fawas, and Naila. Since a moment ago, he became a teacher in SD Hang Tuah 11 Gedangan, Sidoarjo. This thirty-five man is known very active in any events of LDII, whether becoming the committee or the leader. He feels so lucky for he can dedicate himself for religious matter, and in this event, he is so proud of being trusted to be the chairman.

In Musyawarah Daerah VIII DPD LDII Sidoarjo, Mr. Syafi was supported by other committees from any organizations of LDII Sidoarjo. The committees consisted of young and adult boards. According to him, the preparation of this event had been started since a week before the day. The permission was also already released on Thursday. Accordingly, this event was held legally, because the election of DPD LDII Sidoarjo chief must be arranged in in-order processes. He added that the committees had already prepared this event optimally for they had less sleep. This event was also covered by several Indonesian journalists. Moreover, this event was already attended by 50% of the participants at 6:30, whereas the event was begun at 8:30. This indicated that the participants attended this event enthusiastically.


However, besides the good preparation, he also found any problem. The event was going well, but it was so dynamic. It is stated that the arrangement of the event was changed due to the Sidoarjo regent who came late. Actually, the event should be opened by the regent in the morning, but it was delayed until afternoon. Yet the event was already started in the morning, so it was still going on and it only postponed the opening by the regent.

Overall, he thinks this event is very essential, so that all of the committees should work hard in preparing and finishing this event to obtain the success. He hopes that the leadership from the new formation will be better than before. What makes him prouder was when the protocol of the regent stated that this event was held successfully because it is still rare that the conference was performed like this, such as wearing coat and using full AC, because the last conference was not like this.
