Sayyidinaa ’Ali  termasuk orang yang meninggal dunia karena diserang seorang lelaki ambisius yang tergila-gila wanita cantik jelita bernama قَطَامُ بنتُ الشَّحنةِ (Qatham binti Syachnah). Ia meninggal dunia pada tanggal 17 Ramadhan tahun empat puluh Hijriyyah. ’Ali  lah orang yang dulu berperang melawan dan membunuh panglima perang Khaibar bernama Marchab pada bulan Muharram atau Shafar tahun tujuh Hijriyyah, Agustus tahun 628 M. Saat perisainya dipukul pedang hingga terlempar dari tangannya; ia tak merasa sakit. Bahkan lalu bergerak cepat mengejutkan manusia karena pintu gerbang besi sangat tebal dan berat ia tarik sebagai pengganti perisai hingga perang usai. Begitu pintu gerbang tersebut diletakkan ditanah; delapan pria tak mampu mengangkatnya. Bahkan Hakim menulis:

"أَنَّ عَلِيًّا حَمَلَ الْبَابَ يَوْمَ خَيْبَر ، وَأَنَّهُ جَرَّبَ بَعْد ذَلِكَ فَلَمْ يَحْمِلهُ أَرْبَعُونَ رَجُلًا " وَالْجَمْع بَيْنَهُمَا أَنَّ السَّبْعَةَ عَالَجُوا قَلْبَهُ –

In the midst of controversy over smoking ban by the various parties currently, the Ulama Islamic Da'wah Society of Indonesia (LDII) has long been agreed to ban LDII people / municipality smoking. Smoking ban for LDII pilgrims has been legally decided since the 1970's and continuously to be socialized in every occasion such as Quran Hadith learning time and religious advice anywhere. Until now evident both in public places or in a restricted area no LDII people who smoke.

Cigarette is not haram goods according to Allah and Rasul (Quran dan Hadith) rule like alcoholic drink or other psychotropic drugs. Hence there are no restrictions, sanctions or sin for who produce, distribute and sell cigarettes. Nevertheless smoking behavior contains many disadvantages and no benefits at all except the profit for manufacturers and vendors.

In the woman study this month, it's advised again ijtihad of LDII (Lembaga Dakwah Islam Indonesia)ulema about the way of dressing for women and teenage girls. The ijtihad is an affirmation and application of Islamic rules that have been existing and is intended to revive religious rule about how to properly Muslimah dress among LDII women and girls pilgrims.

Nowadays many Muslim fashions and dressed in attractive manner offered, but not all of them are in accordance with the rules of Allah and the Messenger as stated in Al Quran and Al Hadith. For woman Muslim, dressing is not just follow the fashion or trends prevailing in the society or only a culture or habit as Muslimah dress. However the way of dressing is a part of worship performing Allah and the Prophet SAW orders that contain sanctions later in hereafter.

Muslim women dress properly, apart from a form of faith and piety to Allah woman can also prevent violation and disobedience as prominent women body will tend to attract the attention of opposite sex . By closing entire women genital, the woman would be more respected and maintained her honor. For that, LDII woman pilgrims are expected to understand the rules of Allah & The Prophet SAW and the ijtihad of ulemas as well about the way of properly dressed according to religious rules in order not to wrongly chose Muslim dresses that actually deviate from the religious provisions.

Tausiyah Ketua MUI Jatim di Pondok Pesantren LDII Burengan Kediri

Senen, 15 Maret 2010, bertempat di Pondok Pesantren LDII “Wali Barokah” Burengan Kediri, Ketua Umum Majelis Ulama Indonesia (MUI) Jawa Timur, Bapak KH. Abdusshomad Buchori berkenan memberikan tausiyah (nasehat agama) kepada kader LDII. Tausiyah ini disampaikan dalam rangkaian acara Seminar bertema Gerakan Internet Sehat yang diselenggarakan oleh Dewan Pimpinan Daerah Lembaga Dakwah Islam Indonesia (DPD LDII) Propinsi Jawa Timur bekerjasama dengan Dinas Informasi dan Komunikasi Propinsi Jatim.

Turut menyampaikan makalah dalam seminar ini adalah Kepala Dinas Informasi dan Komunikasi (Infokom) Propinsi Jawa Timur, diwakili Bp. MUI Chairman of East Java Gives Tausiyah at LDII Boarding-School Burengan Kediri

From Abdullah Ibni A'mrin reported that the Prophet SAW spoke, "anyone on earth who pray 'la ilaha illa Allahu wa Allahu akbar wala haula wala quwata illa billaah (no god but Allah and Allah is great and there is no effort and strength except with (permission) of Allah removed from him his sins even if the sin is as much a sea foam ".

From Abu Hurairah ra, Rasulullah SAW actually said, "Whoever reads ‘Laa ilaaha illaAllhu wahdahu laa syarikalahu lahulmulku wa lahulhamdu wa huwa a’la kulli sya’in kodiir’, (There is no god but Allah the One no allies to Him, for Him the kingdom to Him be praise, and He is Powerful over all things) in a single day as much as 100 (hundred) times, there is (the reward) for him as he/she frees 10 (ten) slaves and was written for her 100 (one hundred) of goodness and removed 100 (one hundred) ugliness and there is guarding for him from Satan that day until the afternoon, and there is no more good deed greater than these practices unless someone who practice more than that. Ablution (Wudhu) before Salat

Before conducting prayers, a Muslim has to perform a ritual ablution. In another words, Wudhu is one of the absolute requirement before salat. Along the salat, the body, cloth and places must be in purified condition. Wudhu is an expression of purifying body.

يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُواْ إِذَا قُمْتُمْ إِلَى الصَّلاةِ فاغْسِلُواْ وُجُوهَكُمْ وَأَيْدِيَكُمْ إِلَى الْمَرَافِقِ وَامْسَحُواْ بِرُؤُوسِكُمْ وَأَرْجُلَكُمْ إِلَى الْكَعْبَينِ وَإِن كُنتُمْ جُنُبًا فَاطَّهَّرُواْ وَإِن كُنتُم مَّرْضَى أَوْ عَلَى سَفَرٍ أَوْ جَاء أَحَدٌ مَّنكُم مِّنَ الْغَائِطِ أَوْ لاَمَسْتُمُ النِّسَاء فَلَمْ تَجِدُواْ مَاء فَتَيَمَّمُواْ صَعِيدًا طَيِّبًا فَامْسَحُواْ بِوُجُوهِكُمْ وَأَيْدِيكُم مِّنْهُ مَا يُرِيدُ اللّهُ لِيَجْعَلَ عَلَيْكُم مِّنْ حَرَجٍ وَلَـكِن يُرِيدُ لِيُطَهَّرَكُمْ وَلِيُتِمَّ نِعْمَتَهُ عَلَيْكُمْ لَعَلَّكُمْ تَشْكُرُونَ*سورة المائدة ٦

The Way of Wudhu

The Prophet, peace be upon him, said 'cleanliness is half of faith'. Wudhu is the ritual washing performed by Muslims before prayer. Muslims must be clean and wear good clothes before they present themselves before God.

Hands

Muslims start in the name of God, and begin by washing the right, and then the left hand three times.

Mouth and Nose

The mouth is then cleaned three times while water is breathed in gently through the nose three times.

Face

The face includes everything from the top of the forehead to the chin, and up to both ears. The face is one of the essentials in wudhu, and must be washed at least once, or the wudhu is incomplete. However, it is usually washed three times.

Right arm

The arms up to the elbow, and including the hands, are one of the four essential areas that need to be washed. The right arm is washed three times first.

Left arm

Then the left three times.

There is a certain ritual order in which wudhu is normally performed, but as long as Muslims wash the four essentials at least once, by taking a shower for example, it counts.

Hair and Ears

Water from wet hands is passed from the beginning of the hairline and over the head. This is only done once. The wiping of the hair is the third of the four compulsory acts
Then continuously, using damp hands, the back and inside of the ears are wiped.

The Prophet also said "If there was a river at the door of anyone of you and he took a bath in it five times a day would you notice any dirt on him?" His companions said, "Not a trace of dirt would be left." The Prophet added, "That is the example of the five prayers with which Allah blots out evil deeds." (Bukhari)

Right foot

The feet represent the last of the four compulsory areas of washing. The right foot is washed up to the ankles three times.

Although there are only four compulsory acts of washing, and each has to be washed only once, Muslims follow the example of the Prophet. He usually extended the washing ritual to ensure cleanliness before prayer, and even used to brush his teeth before each prayer.

Left foot

Then the left foot up to the ankles three times.

Wudhu does not need to be performed before every prayer, although this is recommended. Each wudhu lasts for up to a day when not travelling, but must be performed again after going to the toilet, passing wind, bleeding heavily, contact with excrement, vomiting, falling asleep, and taking intoxicating substances.

Sidoarjo Regent Candidate Visits LDII Boarding-school Al Barokah

Coinciding with the the General Quran Hadist Learnign May 9, 2010, LDII Sidoarjo pilgrims had the honor of a visit by Regent and Vice Regent of Sidoarjo candidates the period 2010-2015 Mrs Yuniwati Teryana and H. Sarto ST MH.

In front of about 6000 (six thousand) LDII Sidoarjo pilgrims both of Sidoarjo head candidates delivering its commitment to religious harmony in this Sidoarjo Regent. Candidates of Regent and Vice Regent who the first to get a recommendation from the Sidoarjo Election Commission also states its mission to build the biggest mosque in Sidoarjo even all over East Java as part of its commitment to the development of Islam in Sidoarjo.

Meanwhile Chairman of the DPD LDII Sidoarjo, Hasan Yuswadi SH, delivered his message whenever Yuni-Sarto will get the mandate to lead Sidoarjo they should pay more attention to basic problems that exist in Sidoarjo, namely: Education, (especially religious education), health, unemployment and the environment.

Religious Consolidaton Advice for Jemaat LDII Woman

Sunday, May 16, 2010, Central Executive Board of Islamic Da'wah Society of Indonesia (DPP LDII) sent his daiyah and woman-preacher to provide Qur'an learning and religious advice specifically for the stabilization LDII Sidoarjo mothers/woman . The Qur'an learning and religious advice of this consolidation as an effort to nurture the faith and fear to Allah also to improve the good deed of female pilgrims, remembering most of the inhabitants of the hell is the female/women. Word of the Prophet SAW:

LDII Sidoarjo Hold Finishing Study of Hadith Ibn Majah part 2

As the implementation of knowledge transfer in stages, DPD LDII Sidoarjo this month held a finishing recitation hadith of Ibn Majah part 2. In the last hadith of Ibn Majah part 2 learning organized by Central Executive Board of Islamic Da'wa Society of Indonesia (DPP LDII) at LDII Islamic boarding-school Burengan Kediri April 7-21, 2010, LDII Sidoarjo sent 30 preachers people to study these hadith. Now turn to the preachers to disseminate these to all Muslims in Sidoarjo.

Take lessons / learning Quran & Hadist knowledge is the main program in the organization Islamic Da'wah Society of Indonesian (LDII). Apart from the mastery of the knoledge is an absolute requirements of legitimate practice of worship, sciences is an absolute requirement the life of Islam religion and the upholding Muslim faith. Wajibnya Berdoa bagi setiap Muslim

Berdoa merupakan salah satu kewajiban seorang Muslim. Dalam ajaran Islam setiap mulai suatu pekerjaan dimulai dengan doa dan diakhiri juga dengan doa.

Berdoa adalah memohon kepada Allah dan berdoa bisa dilakukan dimana saja kapan saja sesuai dengan kondisi / keadaan kita dan apa yang sedang kita kerjakan.

Kewajiban berdoa ini tertulis dalam Al Quran dan Sabda Rasulullah SAW dalam Al Hadist. Tuntunan dan tatacara berdoa juga tertuang dalam Quran dan Hadist.

Firman Allah dan Sabda Nabi SAW tentang wajibnya berdoa;

وَقَالَ رَبُّكُمْ ادْعُونِي أَسْتَجِبْ لَكُمْ إِنَّ الَّذِينَ يَسْتَكْبِرُونَ عَنْ عِبَادَتِي سَيَدْخُلُونَ جَهَنَّمَ دَاخِرِينَ ~ القرعن سورة الغافر ٦٠

Allah berfirman,"Berdoalah kamu sekalian kepadaKu (Allah) akan aku kabulkan (doa) kamu sekalian, sesungguhnya orang yang sombong (menolak) untuk beribadah kepadaKu akan Aku masukkan ke dalam neraka Jahanam dengan hina".

The Compulsory of Dua for Every Muslim

Dua is an obligation for every Muslim. According to Islam Rule every work should be start and finish with dua.

Dua is supplication to Allah and performing dua can be done anywhere and anytime correspond to our circumstances and what we are doing.

The obligation of performing dua is writen in Al Quran and Al Hadith. The way of performing dua is also guided in Quran and Hadith.

Allah decree and Rasulullah SAW spoke about the compulsory of dua confirmed in Quran and Hadith:

Al Quran Surah Al Ghafir verse 60

وَ قَالَ رَبُّكُمْ ادْعُونِي أَسْتَجِبْ لَكُمْ إِنَّ الَّذِينَ يَسْتَكْبِرُونَ عَنْ عِبَادَتِي سَيَدْخُلُونَ جَهَنَّمَ دَاخِرِينَ ~ القرعن سورة الغافر ٦٠

Allah decree,"Pray to me(Allah) I'm going to have to answer you all (your prayer), verily whom is boast (reject) to worship to Me I will take them into the hell disgracefully".

حَدَّثَناَ اَحْمَدُ بْنُ مَنِعٍ حَدَثَناَ مَرْواَنُ بْنُ مُعَاوِيَاةَ عَنِ الَأ عْمَشِ عَنْ ذَرٍ عَنْ يُسَيْعٍ عَنِ النُّعْمَانِ بْنِ بَشِيرٍ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَ سَلَّمَ قالَ الدُّعَاءُ هُوَ العِبَادَةِ ثُمَّ قَرَاَء وَ قَالَ رَبُكُمُ ادْعُونِى أَسْتَجِبْ لَكُمْ إِنَّ الَّذِيْنَ يَسْتَكبِرُونَ عَنْ عِبَادَتِى سَيَدْخُلُونَ جَهَنَّمَ دَاخِرِيْنَ ~ رواه الترمذى ج ١٢ ص٢٦٧

Rasulullah spoke,"Prayer is worship", then The Apostle recited Allah decree,"Pray to me(Allah) I'm going to have to answer you all, verily whom is boast (reject) to worship to Me I will take them into the hell disgracefully".

حَدَّثَناَ عَبَا بْنُ عَبْدِالعَظِيِمِ العَنْبَرِيِّ وَ غَيْرُ وَاحِدٍ قَالُوا حَدَثَنا أَبُودَاوُدَ الطَّيَا لِيِسِىُّ حَدَّثَناَ عِمْرَانُ القَطَّانُ عَنْ قَتَادَةَ عَنْ سَعِيْدِبْنِ أَبىِ الحَسَنِ عَنْ أَبِى هُرَيْرةَ رضاللَّه عنه عَنِ النَّبِىِّ صَلَّى اللَّه عليه و سلم قَالَ لَيْسَ شَيْءٌ أَكْرَمَ عَلَى اللَّه تَعَالَى مِنَ الدُّعَاءِ ~ رواه الترمزى ج ١٢ ابواب الدعاء

From Abi Hurairah from The Apostle SAW, The Apostle spoke,"Nothing more gracious according to Allah The High but prayer".
